2. INTRODUCTION
Versatile compact mini bench grinder with flexible drive shaft and buffing wheel attachment. Includes nylon, wool and steel wire wheels.
Supplied with eye shields and spark arrestors for added safety. Tool rests provide control during use. Fitted with fine grit grinding stone and
polishing wheel. Suitable for the DIY enthusiast and light garage use.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Bench Grinder
4.1.1. Adjust the tool rests (fig.1.4) and eye shields (fig.1.8) to the required positions and secure in place with the locks (figs.1.5 & 1.7)
Ensure that the eye shield is brought down over the top of the wheel and that the tool rest is as close to the wheel as possible.
4.1.2. Plug the machine into the mains and operate the on/off switch (fig1.1). The speed can be adjusted by rotating the speed selector (fig.1.2).
4.2. Drive Shaft
4.2.1. To fit the drive shaft, remove the cap from the drive shaft connector (fig.1.6) and
screw the inner end of the shaft onto the threaded connector, as in fig.2. Lock
the spindle with the spindle lock (fig.1.9)
4.2.2. The outer end of the drive shaft is fitted with a collet. To loosen the collet, lock
the drive shaft with the locking pin (fig.3) and unscrew the retainer with the
spanner provided.
4.2.3. Insert the shaft of the tool to be used into the collet and retighten.
4.3. Polishing Arbor
4.3.1. To fit the polishing arbor, remove the cap from the drive shaft connector and
screw the arbor onto the threaded connector.
4.3.2. The relevant polishing mop will thread onto the tapered arbor (fig.4).
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Clean the casing occasionally with a damp, soapy cloth. DO NOT use solvent or abrasive cleaners.
5.2. When not in use, store in a cool, dry, childproof location.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, dispose of it according to local regulations.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
