You must have a Token Ring Network Interface Card installed in the GL-1010.

Set the speed to either 4 Mbps or 16 Mbps from the copier's front panel or by using
TopAccess.
AppleTalk

Available over Ethernet (EtherTalk) only. The GL-1010 does not support TokenTalk.

The GL-1010 does not support AppleShare on the Macintosh XL and 128K.
