BU/MB Replacement ~
Remove the defective BU from Loading Assy.
Also remove the BU dumpers (4pcs).
Unpack new parts and take Barcode
photo by camera.
Assemble BU with dumpers to Loading Assy
(tighten screw with 2kgf).
Decode the Barcode photo by using
BDBUDec and save the text data to USB
memory.
Enter the service mode and insert USB
memory to rear panel.
Select [2] Drive Menu → [3] RewriteOPData
BDP UNIT ASSY REPAIR GUIDE
After finishing the Rewrite OP data, confirm
[7] DeltaIOPcheck for BU Laser quality.
The Iop data is within specification, turn off
the power.
Turn On the Power and check the playback
performance by using CD, DVD and BD.
