DO NOT let the glue gun get wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.
DO NOT place nozzle close to your face (especially eyes, ears, etc) or other persons or animals.
DO NOT allow children or untrained persons to operate the glue gun.
DO NOT operate the glue gun when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
DO NOT allow the glue to contact skin.
DO NOT inhale any vapour given off by the glue.
DO NOT carry the glue gun with your finger on the power switch, or carry by the power cable.
DO NOT use the glue gun where there are flammable liquids, solids or gases such as paint solvents, etc.
DO NOT leave the glue gun unattended whilst it is switched on.
When not in use switch the glue gun off, remove plug from the power supply, store the tool in a safe, dry child proof area.
2. INTRODUCTION
Ready to use in less than 5 minutes. Once fully heated, mains cable can be easily unplugged from body for short periods of cordless use.
Composite housing with soft grip for added comfort. On/off switch and trigger feed control. Suitable for Ø11 x 100mm glue sticks. Two glue
sticks can be loaded at once. Supplied with stand. 25pc Glue stick packs available separately - order Model No. AK292/2.

4. OPERATION
NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING! Remember that whilst operating the gun, both the dispensing nozzle and the glue itself are hot.
DO NOT allow the nozzle or glue to come into contact with any part of your body or that of anybody else who may be assisting.
4.1
PREPARATION
4.1.1
Ensure the work surface is clean and clear before engaging in the task in hand.
4.1.2
Steady the workpiece with an appropriate vice or clamp.
4.1.3
Clip the metal stand to the front of the glue gun.
4.1.4
The gun requires two sticks inserted to operate. Insert the glue sticks firmly into the inlet, squeeze the trigger several times to insert
the sticks fully into the gun. When the stick cannot be pushed any further by the trigger, insert another stick into the inlet.
4.2
USING THE GLUE GUN
4.2.1
Plug the glue gun into mains power and press the 0 – 1 button to turn on.
4.2.2
Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the temperature. Leave the gun to warm up for approximately 5 minutes.
4.2.3
Choose a higher temperature to achieve a liquid melt. Choose a lower temperature to achieve a thicker melt.
4.2.4
Squeeze the trigger firmly until glue flows from the nozzle.
4.2.5
Adhesive solidifies rapidly.
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are brought together without delay.
4.2.6
When the task is complete, unplug the gun and leave to cool.
4.2.7
No cleaning is required.
DO NOT remove the glue stick from the gun as this may cause damage to the
product and/or cause personal injury.

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
