Charge your speaker system
See figure 2 on page 2
You can power your speaker system using:
• the included charger.
• 4 AA alkaline batteries. Remove battery door (by turning to unlock symbol), insert batteries, and reattach battery
door (by aligning the triangle on the door with unlock symbol and turning to lock symbol).
Turn it on & off
See figure 3 on page 2
To turn your speaker system on and off, press the Power button on the rear. The Power indicator light is steadily
lit when the speaker system is on.
Connect your speaker system
Connect wirelessly
To listen to your music via Bluetooth wireless connection, as well as make and receive handsfree calls, you need
to pair (link) your speaker system with your Bluetooth phone and/or music device.
1. Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with your speaker system.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your Bluetooth phone or music device.
3. Turn on your speaker system.
The Bluetooth indicator flashes to indicate your speaker system is in discoverable mode.
4. Place phone or music device in Bluetooth search mode.
The phone or music device searches for your speaker system.
5. Select Motorola EQ7 from search results on your phone or music device and confirm pairing following the
on-screen instructions.
6. If prompted, enter 0000 passkey.
When your speaker system successfully pairs and connects with your phone or music device, the Bluetooth
indicator changes from flashing blue to steadily lit. Music playing from your connected music device source is
heard on your speaker system.
After successfully pairing your speaker system and Bluetooth device, you don't need to repeat these steps. For
each use, ensure that your speaker system is turned ON and that your device's Bluetooth feature is ON.
Some music devices will automatically attempt to play music when the EQ7 re-connects to it.
