Triangle Solution
Given three sides of a triangle or a combination of sides and angles, this program solves for the remaining sides and angles and
computes the area of the triangle. There are no keystrokes required—everything can be accomplished with the wand and the graphic
aid on the facing page. Simply scan the values for the sides or angels together with the bar code for the corresponding sides or angles
in the diagram, in any order, untill all of the known values are input. Then scan the code for any of the sides or angles in the diagram
to display their lengths or measures. Scanning the bar code labeled
Notes:
1.
If a triangle cannot exist with the side lengths and angle measures given, i.e., the data is inconsistent,
displayed.
2.
In some cases, two solutions exist because one of the angles can be either obtuse or acute. Both solutions will be displayed.
3.
The equations used are derived from the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines.

2.
Using the graphic aid on the facing page, scan
3.
Scan the numeric value for any known part of the triangle followed by the bar code for the part. Angles are measured in
degrees.
4.
Repeat step 3 until all date are entered. A minimum of three known parts is required, but if additional information is known,
more than three parts may be entered and execution time will be shortened.
5.
Scan the bar code for the area or any side or angle to display its calculated value.
6.
For another triangle, go to step 3.
Example: Solve the triangle below.
