Unpack
1
Remove everything from the box.
Follow all the instructions in your Safety booklet.

Remove the packing material.

Fit the paper support
into its three slots.

Attach Cable

Turn off your computer before attaching the cable.

    Load Ink Open the cover and lift the ink cartridge clamps. Unpack the ink cartridges that came with your printer and remove the yellow tape. Don’t remove the seals from the bottom of the cartridges; ink will leak out. Keep cartridges out of the reach of children.

  • Page 3: Install Software

    Continue on the next screen. The printer files install. Select your default paper size, then click Restart. After your Macintosh restarts, you see the EPSON Registration screen. Register your printer as instructed. Open the Chooser, click the C40 Series icon, click your USB port, and turn on background printing.

  • Page 4: How To Print

    ™ Lite program on your CD-ROM. Just select Install EPSON Film Factory Lite from the Main Menu described in the previous section. When you’re ready to use the software, select Film Factory in your Windows program group or Macintosh folder.

    See the printer manual on your CD-ROM for more information. Replacing an Ink Cartridge To ensure good results, use genuine EPSON ink cartridges and don’t refill them. Other products may cause damage to your printer not covered by EPSON’s warranty.
