4. OPERATION
WARNING! Risk of burns. If hot glue comes into contact with skin, hold under a stream of cold water for several minutes.
4.1.
Save energy, only switch on when being used.
WARNING! Ensure On/Off switch is in OFF position.
4.2.
FIT BATTERY
4.3.
SWITCH ON
Slide button On/Off to turn on, red LED indicator light will illuminate . DO NOT leave unattended. Place on a heatproof surface.
4.4.
SWITCH OFF
Slide On/Off button red LED indicator will turn off.
4.5.
After use place glue gun down in a safe manner and allow it to cool down completely before storage.
4.6.
PREPARATION FOR GLUING
4.6.1.
Surfaces must be free from grease, clean and dry.
4.6.2.
Materials to be glued as well as the surface on which the work is taking place must not be easily ignitable or flammable.
4.6.3.
Check the suitability of materials to be glued on a test work piece.
4.6.4.
Ambient temperature of a workpiece must be between +5°C and +50°C.
4.6.5.
Materials such as metals, which cool off the glue quickly, should be preheated with a hot air gun.
4.7.
GLUING
4.7.1.
Insert the appropriate glue stick into the opening in the rear of the glue gun.
4.7.2.
Switch on and allow to heat up.
4.7.3.
Press the feed trigger, applying moderate pressure.
4.7.4.
Apply glue onto one side only, press the glued surfaces together. It is still possible to adjust the location of the two pieces at this point.
4.7.5.
The glued joint can be subjected to load after a cool down period of approximately two minutes.
4.7.6.
Remove glue residue after cooling with a blunt object. If necessary glued joints can be separated again by applying heat.
DO NOT use inflammable solvents for cleaning the surfaces to be glued. Solvent residues can ignite from hot glue or hazardous

vapours could develop.
DO NOT remove a partially used glue stick from the end of the glue gun.

5. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Remove battery before performing maintenance.
5.1.
Clean with a damp cloth, DO NOT use solvents.

WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
