Microsoft announced that Windows 7 would have USB 3.1 Gen 1 support, perhaps not on its immediate release, but in a subsequent Service Pack or update. It is not out of the question to think that following a successful release of USB 3.0/USB 3.1 Gen 1 support in Windows 7, SuperSpeed support would trickle down to Vista.
Starting the camera To start the camera, open an application that uses the camera. For instance, if you tap the Dell webcam central software or the Skype software that is shipped with the laptop, the camera turns on. Similarly, if you are chatting on the internet and the application requests to access the webcam, the webcam turns on.
Boot menu Press <F12> when the Dell™ logo appears to initiate a one-time boot menu with a list of the valid boot devices for the system. Diagnostics and BIOS Setup options are also included in this menu. The devices listed on the boot menu depend on the bootable devices in the system.

Click Get drivers and click View All Drivers. The Drivers and Downloads page opens. On the Drivers and Downloads screen, under the Operating System drop-down list, select BIOS.
