Operation with TAPE

Basic Playback
1 1 Press TAPE to select tape function.
("NO TAPE " appears in the display window.)
2 2 Open cassette deck by pushing to the
PUSH EJECT position.
3 3 Insert a cassette with the tape side to the
bottom and then close deck.
4 4 Press B B (or b b ) on the front panel or remote con-
trol.
AUTO REVERSE DECK
You can select direction of the cassette you want by
pressing MODE.
Pressing Display
After the cassette plays front or
reverse (backward play) side,
-
stops automatically.
After the cassette plays front and
Once
reverse side, stops automatically.
After the cassette of plays six times
Twice
repeatedly front and reverse side,
stops automatically.
To Stop Play
Press STOP(x) on the front panel or TAPE STOP
(x) on the remote control during playback.
To Play Rewind or Fast Forward
After press ./> on the front panel or b b b b /B B B B on
the remote control during playback or stop, press B B
(or b b ) at the tape position you want.
Recording from Radio, CD or Auxiliary
source
Press the function (CD, TUNER/BAND, AUX or

USB) you want.
Open the cassette deck and insert a blank cas-

sette into the cassette compartment.
To set the recording direction
Press MODE repeatedly to set the recording direc-
tion.
3 3 Press REC/PAUSE (z/[]) on the front panel or
z/[] on the remote control.
"REC" flashes and holds the cassette in pause
mode.
Function Press REC/PAUSE (z/[]) on the front panel or

z/[] remote control.
The recording is begun.
To pause the recording
Press z/[] ( or REC/PAUSE (z/[])) during
recording.
To stop the recording
Press STOP(x).
CD- Synchro recording
This feature is a convenient to record tracks from CD to
cassette.
1 1 Select the CD function and load a CD to be
recorded.
You may wish to program a selection of tracks for
recording.
Open the cassette deck and insert a blank

cassette into the tape tray.
Press CD SYNC. in stop mode.

The synchronized recording is started automati-

cally after about 7 seconds.
