Problem
Engine will not start

TROUBLESHOOTING

Probable Cause
Engine switch in OFF position Move switch to ON position
Fuel shut-off valve in Off
position
Fuel tank empty
Spark plug disconnected
Faulty spark plug
Choke lever in wrong position Adjust choke lever position
Faulty engine
Debris accumulated on
engine and cooling fins
Low hydraulic oil level
Kinked or pinched hydraulic
lines
Hydraulic drive coupling

Faulty hydraulic pump
Faulty control valve
Worn or damaged drive
coupling
Air in hydraulic system
Debris in control lever

Dented rear cap on control
lever valve assembly

Correction
Move valve to ON position
Fill fuel tank with fuel
Connect spark plug
Replace spark plug
See your Husqvarna dealer
Clean debris from engine
and cooling fins
Refill hydraulic oil to proper
level
Repair or replace damaged
hydraulic lines
Replace hydraulic drive
coupling
