Only connect the device to a correctly installed grounded power
socket.
If the device falls to the ground or sustains a severe impact, or if
it falls into water, stop using it immediately. In such cases, please
contact our service centre.
If the power supply cable of this device is damaged it should be re-
placed by the manufacturer or by its customer service or a similarly
qualified person, to avoid danger.
Never use the device in the direct vicinity of a sink, bath tub, shower
or swimming pool as water spray may enter the appliance.
Never allow water or other liquids to enter the device. Therefore:
– never use the device outdoors,
– never place containers filled with liquids, such as drinking glas-
ses, vases, etc., on the device,
– never use in a very humid environment such as a bathroom.
If any liquids do get into the device, unplug the power cord
immediately and ensure the device is repaired by a qualified
technician.
Never attempt to reach through the protective grilles into the
interior of the device using your fingers or any other objects.
Never touch the device, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet
hands.
Always unplug the mains cable by pulling the plug. Never pull on
the cable itself.
Ensure the power cable does not kink or become trapped.
Take care to ensure that the power cord is not damaged by sharp
edges.
Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces (e.g. cookers/
stoves).
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period
of time, unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Only then is the
device completely free of electrical current.
Extension cord use is prohibited.
Using an external timer or a separate remote control system, such
as a radio socket with the device is prohibited.
