DANGER of burn injuries
Never touch the housing of the kettle (4) during and immediately after
operation. Only use the handle (8) to hold or carry the kettle (4).
Hot steam is released when the water boils. Make sure not to burn yourself.
Wear
kettle (4) so that the steam is directed away from you.

8. Maintenance / cleaning

Wait until the kettle (4) has cooled down completely before cleaning it.
Otherwise you could burn yourself.

Always remove the plug from the power socket before cleaning commences.
Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock.
Do not pour or spray any liquids onto the base (5) or immerse it into water or
any other liquids. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock and a fire hazard
due to short circuits.
WARNING of damage to property
Do not use any scratching or abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive objects
(such as a metal scourer) for cleaning purposes. Otherwise the kettle may be
damaged.

Use a descaling agent that is used for coffee machines and other household devices. Proceed
as described in the instructions for the descaling agent.
