Safety Precautions

WARNING
To prevent problems with your skin, body or eyes
Do not use in the following cases:
• If you feel sick or have a fever
• If you have scratches, rashes or swellings on your skin
• If you have dermatitis, strong sunburn or other skin abnormalities
(Using the product could cause problems to your skin or body.)
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
(Failure to do so may cause an accident or injury.)
If you feel pain or other abnormalities on your skin or body, stop using the
product immediately.

Power supply
Do not connect or disconnect the adaptor to a household outlet or the
main unit with wet hands.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or injury.)
Do not use if the AC Adaptor is damaged or loose in the power outlet.
Do not damage the cord.
Do not scratch, alter, strongly bend, pull on, twist or place heavy objects on
the cord, squeeze it between two objects, etc.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or fire due to short circuit.)
Do not use in ways exceeding the ratings of the power outlet or
connecting devices.
( Exceeding ratings due to connection of multiple devices to the same power
outlet could cause fire due to overheating.)
Do not use anything other than the supplied AC adaptor. Also, do not
charge any other product with the supplied AC adaptor.
(Doing so could cause burns or fire due to short circuit.)
Always use with an AC 110 - 240 V power supply.
Insert the adaptor and appliance plug securely and all the way in.
(Failure to do so could cause fire or electric shocks.)
Always unplug the adaptor from a household outlet when cleaning.
(Doing so could cause electric shocks or injury.)
Keep dust off the power plug and connection plug by cleaning them regularly.
(Humidity, etc., could cause faulty insulation, leading to fire.)
→ Unplug the adaptor and wipe off the power cord with a dry cloth.
The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the appliance
should be scrapped.

In case of problems or malfunction
In case of problems or malfunction, stop using immediately and unplug
the adaptor.

The main unit or AC adaptor may
• be deformed or abnormally hot,
• smell of burning,
• make an abnormal sound during use or charging.
→ Contact an authorized service center (as described in the warranty)
immediately for inspection or repair.

Do not use or store in bathrooms or other places where humidity is high,
and do not set in places where the product could get wet (on washstands,
etc.).

Do not wash or soak the appliance in water.
