Place the printer flat on a stable desk near a grounded outlet. Leave plenty of room in back for the cables and enough room in front for opening the output tray. If ink gets in your eyes, flush them immediately with water. Lower the output tray and raise the printer cover. Press the power button to turn on the printer. The light flashes, the cartridge holders move to the installation position. - Page 5 Charging can take up to 7 minutes, with the power light flashing until it’s finished. When it’s finished, turn off the printer. If you have any problems with the test, see Chapter 6 in your User’s Guide for more information. To connect your EPSON 600Q for Compaq Presario to your ® compatible PC, you’ll need a shielded, twisted-pair parallel cable. -

In addition to the printer driver and utilities, the EPSON printer software CD-ROM contains EPSON Answers, a comprehensive online guide that includes:... - Page 9 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Printers. 2. Point to the EPSON 600Q printer icon and click the right mouse button. Then select the Set As Default option (a check mark appears next to the setting).
