    6 - EPSON Stylus Pro 5000 Running a Printer Check magenta You can use the printer check to make sure that your printer is and yellow operating correctly. Running the check before you connect the ink out lights printer to the RIP verifies that the printer itself is functioning.

    Caution: Never turn off the printer when the P Operate light is flashing. However, if the light is still flashing after 15 minutes and the printer is not moving or making noise, you may turn off the printer. The P Operate process is finished.
