This function enables you to block certain TV channels according to the V-Chip requirement established by the FCC. Channel ( / ) Select Button You can go up and down the channels by pressing CH (+) button and CH (-) button.
  • Page 19 Lock Button This option has 2 choices that you can select from when turning on your TV. One is "Normal" TV mode and other one is "Quiz" mode when turning TV ON. LED Lights ON Button Press this button to turn the TV LED lights ON. You can use this feature as a night light in children’s bedrooms.
  • Page 20 Sleep Timer / Manager Setup Menu Button. This feature allows you to turn off television in a pre- selected time (120, 105, 90, 75, 60, 45, 30 and 15). To cancel, keep pressing the button until you exit out. This button can also be used to access the Manager Setup menu.

TV-Y (For All Children): Programs are designed for a very young audience, including children from ages 2-6.

Follow the instructions below to set up the V-CHIP: Press the “Rating” button on your remote control for the V–Chip setup menu. You will see the following on the screen: 1.

When Block OFF is selected, you will see "U" instead of "B". • Block OFF — Block function is turned off.     Operating Your TV Choices for Turning TV On This option has 2 choices that you can select from. One is “Normal” and the other one is “Quiz”. Press the “Lock” button on the remote control for the following screen: • Normal — If the "Normal" option was set previously, you can watch TV without entering the password or answering the quiz question.

    Troubleshooting Before calling for service, try fixing the problem with one of these minor adjustments. Power TV is not turning ON: • Check that the power cord has been plugged into the outlet properly. • If the plug has been properly plugged in but the TV still does not turn on, try plugging something else into the outlet to make sure there is power.
