3 Remove the front panel.
4 Unscrew the two screws at the top of the
transparent cover of the power unit.
5 Bend the snap hooks aside and remove the
transparent cover of the power unit.
6 Lift out the battery holder and cut the wires with
a pair of cutting pliers or scissors.
7 Bend the battery tags aside with a screwdriver.
8 Remove the rechargeable batteries.
