Operating the Mower
Blade-Control Switch (PTO)
The blade-control switch (PTO) starts and stops the
mower blades and any powered attachments.
Engaging the Blade-Control

Note:
Engaging the blade-control switch (PTO) with
the throttle position at half or less causes excessive
wear to the drive belts.

Operating the Throttle

You can move the throttle control between the F
and S
positions

Operating the Choke

Use the choke to start a cold engine.
1.
If the engine is cold, use the choke to start the
engine.
2.
Pull up on the choke knob to engage the choke
before using the ignition switch

Push down on the choke to disengage the choke
after the engine has started
