IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be observed including the following:
1 . R e a d a l l i n s t r u c t i o n s .
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, and Flice
C o o k e r , e x c e p t l i d a n d p a n , i n w a t e r o r o t h e r l i q u i d .
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
t h e a p p l i a n c e m a l f u n c t i o n s o r h a s b e e n d a m a g e d i n a n y m a n n e r .
Feturn appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
m a n u f a c t u r e r m a y c a u s e i n j u r i e s .
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven

12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

NOTE
A. A short power supply cord set is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Longer cord set or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
e x e r c i s e d i n t h e i r u s e .
C. lf a longer cord set or extension cord is used,
(1) the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance,
(2) the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
o v e r u n i n t e n t i o n a l l v .
