Note: Install the High Flow Hydraulic Control Kit to
the vehicle before installing the spreader base. Refer to
the Installation Instructions included with the kit.
1. Remove all components from the packaging.
Remove and retain the attachment mounting
brackets and fasteners used to secure the spreader
frame to the packaging skid.
2. Route the hydraulic hoses through the guides along
the right side of the frame (Figure 1). Ensure that
the straight fitting ends of the hoses go to the rear of
the spreader frame.
3. Insert a rubber grommet into the hole in the access
cover (Figure 1).
4. Insert the front end of the hoses through the access
hole in the cover.

11. With the bed lowered, remove the clevis pins and
lynch pins securing each cylinder rod end to the bed
mounting plates (Figure 2).

5. Mount the access cover to the spreader frame with
4 washer head screws (Figure 1).
6. Install the 2 straight fittings and O-rings to the
motor (Figure 1).
7. Connect the front hose fittings and O-rings to the
straight fittings on the motor (Figure 1).
8. Secure the drive shaft to the spreader drive shaft
with a bolt (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches) and nut (3/8 inch)
(Figure 1).
9. Secure the motor mount to the spreader frame with
2 bolts (3/8 x 4-1/4 inches) and nuts (3/8 inch)
(Figure 1).
10. Secure the hydraulic motor to the motor mount with
2 bolts (1/2 x 1-1/2 inches) and nuts (1/2 inch)
(Figure 1).
