4.1.5.
Engage the pawl from the neutral position, and begin ratcheting the chain to the desired tension required.
4.1.6.
Wrap any excess binding chain around the ratchet load binder and secure with a cable tie or small gauge wire (not supplied).
4.2.
REMOVING THE BINDER
4.2.1.
Unwrap the excess chain from around the ratchet load binder.
4.2.2.
Switch the pawl to the opposite setting and start ratcheting the ratchet load binder until the chain becomes slack enough to remove
the ratchet load binder.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1.
Clean the binder after each use and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
5.2.
Lubricate the threads regularly with a suitable grease (not supplied).
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
