Emergency drive
Specifications have been changed as follows.
Before setting the emergency drive function, make sure to understand the instructions in the Instruction Manual
(Detailed) and this Instruction Manual Supplement.
[Before change]
• When the emergency drive is activated in the PID control mode, the operation is automatically switched from the
PU operation mode or External/PU combined operation mode to the External operation mode. (When the
emergency drive is activated in the fixed frequency mode, the operation is automatically switched to the External
operation mode from any operation mode.)
• The inverter retries operation when the protective function (E.13) is activated during emergency drive operation.
[After change]
• When the emergency drive is activated in the fixed frequency mode or in the PID control mode, the operation is
automatically switched from the PU operation mode or External/PU combined operation mode to the External
operation mode.
• The inverter output is shut off when the protective function (E.13) is activated during emergency drive operation.
