Phonebook; New Entry - Siemens A55 User Manual

Enter frequently used phone num-
bers in the Phonebook with a special
name. To dial them, simply highlight
the name. If a phone number is
stored with a name, it appears on
the display when you are called.
Entries that belong together can be
combined to form a group.

Open Phonebook ( in
standby mode).

§Select§ Press.

Activate input fields.

Make the following en-
tries. The maximum
number of characters
available is shown at the
top of the display.
Number:
Always enter phone number with an
area dialling code.
Name:
Enter (Text entry, p. 24).

Entries can be organised

by groups (p. 27) for
example:
Family, Friends, VIP, Others
Location:
Default: SIM
Select a storage location:
§Change§
SIM, Mobile
(p. 25).
Record no.:
Each entry is automatically assigned
a number under which it can also be
selected (p. 24).
§Change§ Press to change the entry
number.
§Save§ Press to store the new
entry.
