2. Push the "RESET" button on the PRCD.
3. To set the operation speed, turn the drill spindle and
at the same time move the gear selector. Set the
gear selector in the correct position for the operation.
4. For wet drilling, connect the water system and the
open the water system. Refer to
product for wet drilling on page 12 .
5. For dry drilling, attach the dust extractor to the
product and start the dust extractor. Refer to

Smartstart function

The Smartstart function decreases the speed of the
motor. This helps to make a start hole. The decreased
™
speed of the Smartstart
start holes and not for usual operation.
1. Start the motor. Make sure that the drill bit does not
touch the material.
2. Push the power switch to half to start Smartstart
The speed decreases and the Smartstart
is on.
3. Drill a start hole in the material.
Note:
The Smartstart
automatically when the speed increases.
4. To stop the Smartstart
push the power switch.
