Pressing these buttons steps through the
pattern numbers; the name of each
pattern appears on the display as well.
Refer to the list included with your
Pattern Disk for pattern numbers and
names.

13) Selecting Rhythms From a Pattern Disk (Optional)
You can also load the rhythms from optional Pattern Disks to the User
rhythms in the Rhythm Menu.
To do this:

Press the PATTERN button in the DISPLAY SELECT section.

Select the DISK page with the Page buttons.
The message "Insert Pattern Disk!!" appears and prompts you the
operation.

Insert the Pattern Disk into the disk slot under the Music Disk
Recorder.
The pattern number and name from the Pattern Disk appears.

Using any of the Data Control button pairs, select the pattern you wish to
load.

Start the rhythm to check the pattern to be called up. Select other
patterns (as you did in step #4 above) and check those patterns as
well.

If you want to save the current pattern to a User Rhythm space, select
the previous page, "SAVE" with the Page buttons.

Press the corresponding Data Control buttons to designate both the
User Rhythm number and its variation type (A, B, C, or D).
Press one of the four Data Control buttons below [Save] on the
display to save the pattern, or one of the four buttons below [Cancel]
to abort the operation and return to the previous display.
When the pattern has been saved, a "completed!!" message appears.
