You can select a time up to a max-
imum of 99 minutes.
The timer can be used for two different
functions:
- to set the minute minder
- to set a cooking zone to switch off
automatically.

Minute minder

Setting
 Touch the  sensor.
 Select the time you want with the - or
+ sensor.
Changing
 Touch the  sensor.
 Select the time you want with the - or
+ sensor.
Deleting
 Touch the  sensor.
 Touch the - and + sensors at the
same time until  appears in the
timer display.
Switching off a cooking zone
automatically
You can set a time after which a cook-
ing zone will switch off automatically.
This function can be used for all cook-
ing zones at the same time.
If the time programmed is longer than
the maximum operating time allowed,
the cooking zone will be switched off
by the safety switch-off function (see
"Safety features – Safety switch-off").
 Select a power level for the cooking
zone you require.
 Touch the  sensor control re-
peatedly until the  symbol appears
in the display of the cooking zone you
require.
 Set the required duration.
 If you want to set another cooking
zone to switch off automatically, fol-
low the same steps as described
above.
If multiple switch-off times are pro-
grammed, the shortest time left will be
displayed and  lights up in the dis-
play of the corresponding cooking
zone.
 If you want to show the time left for
other cooking zones in the back-
ground, touch the  sensor control
repeatedly until  appears in the
display of the cooking zone you re-
quire.
