Cartridge group, general
CAUTION
Corrosion
If the cartridge group is not put back into operation immediately after clean-
ing, parts may corrode.
Immediately after cleaning, install the cartridge group and put it back
u
into operation.
There can be severe contamination of the compressor wheels due to badly filtered suction
air and of the turbines because of heavy fuel oil operation or carbonized oil. Cleaning during
operation may not suffice to remove such contamination; instead, it may need to be cleaned
mechanically during standard service intervals (see chapter service work).
