Solution
Attempt a normal Windows shutdown.
If this fails, press the Power button for
four or more seconds to turn off the
power. To restart your computer, press
the Power button again.
Run the Windows Maintenance Wizard
to repair the drive:
1. From the Windows taskbar, click
the Start button.
2. Point to Programs, then
Accessories, then System Tools,
and then click Maintenance
Wizard. The Maintenance Wizard
is displayed.
3. Select Perform maintenance
now.
4. Click OK.
