Windows 2000 and Windows NT Users

The information in this section is specific to Windows 98 and Windows 95.
If you are a Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 user, please note that some of the operation
procedures are not identical to Windows 98 and Windows 95, and some of the features are
not supported.
To open the S400 Properties dialog box from the Start menu, you click Start, Settings, and
Printers. Highlight the Canon S400 icon and then select "Printing Preferences" from the File
menu. The printer settings are arranged on these tabs:
Windows 2000/NT 4.0 tabs
Main
Page Setup
Effects
Profiles
Maintenance
Although the printer settings are arranged differently on these tabs, the functionality is
basically the same.
