Setting Up Favorite Channels

You can quickly tune to your most-watched cable channels by creating a list of favorite channels. Only channels
received through cable input can be included in the list of favorite channels — antenna channels cannot be included.
To tune to a favorite cable channel:
Press Favorites one or more times.
To add a channel to your favorites (or delete a channel):
1.
Press Menu. Use the arrow buttons to select the Source menu and press OK.
2.
Use the arrow buttons to select Channel setup and then Favorite channels and press OK.

Using the On-Screen Menu

Changing Settings Using the Menu

You can change television settings using the on-screen menu. These steps show the general operation, but you can
always look for the prompts near the bottom of the menu screen.
1.
Press Menu to display the on-screen menu.
2.
Press the arrow buttons to highlight the desired menu, then press OK to open that menu.
3.
Press the arrow buttons to highlight the desired setting, then press OK.
4.
Press left and right or up and down to adjust the setting, as prompted.
5.
To return to a previous menu, press back one or more times.
6.
To close the on-screen menu, press Menu.
NOTE:
You can also use the buttons on the television to work the on-screen menu.
The Menu button opens the menu and also corresponds to back.
Use the arrow/OK keys for navigation.

Picture Menu

Some picture adjustments are used only for certain input sources. Unavailable adjustments are shown in gray in the
on-screen menu.

Color saturation
Advanced color

Tint
Color temperature
R Gain, G Gain,
B Gain
Description
Adjusts color and picture settings to one of several combinations designed for
different types of viewing situations. You can change the picture mode at any time to
get the best picture from different sources in different environments. You can also
customize each picture mode for each source.
Brightens or darkens the picture.
Sets the difference between light and dark areas.
Sharpens or softens the picture.
Automatically reduces static in the picture.
Adjusts the intensity of colors.
Adjusts advanced color settings.
Enhances mid-tone areas of the picture.
Shifts colors toward red or green.
Shifts colors toward red or blue.
Adjusts the amount of red (R), blue (B), and green (G). If you change any of these
settings, the Color temperature setting automatically changes to Custom.
