Before you use your phone, you must set it up. Here's a quick way to
set up your phone: Steps 1, 2, and 3.

About the digital security code
This cordless telephone uses a digital security code to provide protection against
unintentional access to your base phone.
This security code blocks other cordless handsets to make calls through your base
phone.
If you want to reset the security code manually, see page 30.

Next, you need to do three things to set
up the base phone, including finding the
best location for the base phone.
