1. Open front cover
2. Take the drum unit together with the catridge in the middle and take it out
of the printer
3. Set the drum unit down in a piece of paper
4. Dissamble the catridge and take it out of the drum unit
5. Unpack the new drum unit
6. Put the catridge into the drum unit and lock the catridge
7. Take the drum unit in the middle and out it into the printer
8. Reset the counter of the drum unit

8.1 press
(screwdriver symbols) → all settings→ device info→ Parts life→ drum
(long press here, short is wrong) to the question „reset drum" is shown→yes
FOR BROTHER HL-L-5000 D/5100 DN/5200 DW/6250 DN
8.1 Turn on the printer
8.2 Open the front cover
8.3 Press the „OK" button for 2 seconds
8.4 „Drum Unit" appears on the display
8.5 Confirm with „OK"
8.6 Press the „arrow up" (▲)
8.7 Close the cover

8.1 Turn on the printer
8.2 The front printer cover must be closed
8.3 Press "X"
8.4 Click on
(screwdriver symbol) then on „Machine info" and on „dur.res.part"
8.5 Press the „drum life" button
8.6 Keep the button pressed until the message on the display changes
8.7 Press „Yes"
8.8 Press the „Home" button

8.1 Turn on the printer
8.2 The front printer cover must be closed
8.3 Press "X"
8.4 Click on

8.7 Press „Yes"
