4.1.1.
The fuel used for this tool is a mixture of unleaded petrol and registered engine lubricant.
4.1.2.
When mixing petrol with oil, use only unleaded petrol that does not contain ethanol or methanol.
4.1.3.
The recommended mixing ratio is 25:1 (make sure the mixing ratio is correct before filling the product).
4.2.
MIXING
4.2.1.
Prepare the mixture in a clean and empty container.
4.2.2.
Pour the oil and petrol into the container.
4.2.3.
Stir the mixture long enough (more than one minute) to get a proper blending.
4.3.
FILLING THE FUEL TANK
4.3.1.
Unscrew the fuel tank cap and remove it.
4.3.2.
Fill the tank slowly with the mixture. DO NOT exceed the maximum capacity (fill to 80% of its capacity preferably).
4.3.3.
Replace the cap on the fuel tank and tighten it.
4.3.4.
Wipe off any spillage around the unit if necessary
NOTE: To avoid damage and accidents, DO NOT use other mixtures and other types of oil / petrol
4.4.
STORAGE OF FUEL
The fuel must be kept in a clean and safe container and always closed.

If you are not using the product for a long time, remove the fuel mixture and add it to a container.

DO NOT leave the fuel for a long time in the product. The fuel may clog the carburettor and the engine will not operate properly.

4.5.
DISPOSAL OF FUEL
Dispose of any unwanted fuel in an authorized location.

Check local laws and regulations regarding disposal of fuels.

4.6.
AUGER ASSEMBLY
4.6.1.
Place the machine body on a flat and stable location.
4.6.2.
Remove the clip and pin on the drill drive shaft.
4.6.3.
Install the auger and align the holes to be able to connect the
shaft and auger together.
4.6.4.
Put the pin back in place and refit the clip through the hole
in the pin. (fig.1).
4.7.
BEFORE USE
4.7.1.
Check the machine for damage or malfunction. In case of
problems, DO NOT use the machine.
4.7.2.
Check that the drill rod is properly and securely assembled.
4.7.3.
Check the fuel volume. Always refuel before operating the
machine. Never use the machine with little or no fuel.
4.7.4.
Check the workspace; remove all obstacles, materials and
objects that could pose danger and cause an accident.
4.7.5.
Secure the workspace by placing markings to alert spectators of existing potential risk.
4.8.
STARTING THE OPERATION
4.8.1.
COLD STARTING
4.8.1.1.
Switch on the tool by sliding the Stop/Start slider to the ON location.

Push the primer bulb 5-7 times, until fuel comes into the primer bulb.

Move the choke lever to the ON position (fig.4).
4.8.1.4.
Pull the starter cord until the engine starts (fig.5).
4.8.1.5.
Move the choke lever to the OFF position (fig.4).
4.8.1.6.
Allow engine to warm up for a few minutes before using.
4.8.1.7.
Depress the safety switch then squeeze the throttle trigger to start
the operation (fig.2, fig.6). See Section 4.9 for instructions.
