CRITERIA FOR CHECKING OPTICAL ENGINE UNIT CONDITION
／光学ユニット判定基準
The following criteria are applicable during the warranty
period.

Dark room
Screen size :
Zoom adjustment :
Lens shift position :
Test distance :
1. Dark pixel
Criterion: (1) Fail if there are 2 or more dark pixels in area A.
(2) NG if there are 5 or more dark pixels in A + B
area (total area).
Phenomenon: Dark pixels remain dark on the white or
bright screen.
Possible cause: The DMD mirror is fixed at the OFF posi-
tion and the affected pixels look black.
2. Linked pair of dark pixels
Criterion:
Fail if there is even 1 linked pair of dark
pixels.
Phenomenon: 2 dark pixels are linked together.
Possible cause: The DMD mirror is fixed at the OFF posi-
tion and the affected pair of pixels look
black.

現象：
白い画面や明るい画面で、 画面の画素が黒く
なったまま変わらない。
発生原因： ＤＭＤミラーがOFF位置で固定し黒く見える
画素欠陥

ダークピクセルが 2 個連結したもの
発生原因： ＤＭＤミラーがOFF位置で固定し黒く見える
