Page 7: Assembling The Kp90
Attach your foot pedal to the KP90. Adjust the base’s position so that the pad surface of the KP90 is vertical when the foot pedal is attached, and the KP90 is stable when the beater hits the pad. After the position is determined, firmly tighten the wing bolts q to secure. -

For more details, refer to the Owner’s Manual that came with the drum trigger module. • If using the KP90 as a standalone pad with no other pad connected to it, a mono phone cable can also be used to make this connection to the drum trigger module. -

Adjusting the Output Level The output level from the KP90 can be raised by turning the level adjuster q clockwise and vice-versa. Be sure to adjust this level to best suit the strength with which you strike the pad, your desired dynamic range (i.e., the difference between loudest and quietest volumes), and the type of DTX Series drum trigger module being used. - Page 10 YAMAHA may request that you send the defective product to a local authorized YAMAHA Servicer or authorize return of the defective product to YAMAHA for repair.
