Control of the water level in the jacket
- Level control of the water in the vessel is optional.
If the level control is not working, water can be overfilled
and get out through the deaerator/ the safety valve, this oc-
curs; the sensor requires cleaning.
For assembly / disassembly of the sensor see Fig. 10.
Please note! it is important that the hose goes all
the way up to the stainless steel screw to get the
right water level in the jacket.
• If the level control does not signal to stop filling
water,
If the drinking water has low values of minerals,
other settings may need to be done on the level
control.
- Change (Sensitivity) from UP-LS to UP-HS
(See fig.11)
- Adjust down 100% to approx. 75% (need to be
checked on site).
Frequency converter (ABB brand)
We are using a frequancy converter of the brand ABB.
The frequency converter is pre-set from factory and
it is not possible to make changes.
Note! When ordering spare parts, the order will
include pre-set frequency converters.

Safety PLC

(Valid to june 2013)
The safety PLC monitors the safety features of the machine.
Emergency stop, lid switch and speed of the agitator.
Error messages can be read out on the display.
A error: the fault is outside the safety PLC. Check the emer-
gency stop, lid switch, the speed monitor and cables.
NB. The distance between the magnet and magnetic switch
should be a maximum. 0.4 mm. Check with a feeler gauge.
F-error: the fault is in the safety PLC. Try to reset the safety
PLC by making it without power, the error remains, replace
the component.
Control of safety PLC
To be made during installation and after service of the stirrer.
Tilt the boiling pan, make sure the magnet ring and the rotation
sensor are fastened with Locktite and have a distance of 0.4-0.6
mm (Measure with a feeler gauge).
Run the agitator program WITHOUT GRID. The light on the
rotation sensor will blink.
Tilt back the boiling pan and run the agitator at about 30 rpm.
Open the lid and check that the agitator stops. Close the lid,
the agitator will start and run with 25 rpm.
Remove the detachable lid and close the lid arm, start the
stirrer. Safety PLC should bail out immediately and the blue
light comes on.
Reset the safety PLC.
Turn the agitator quickly manually. Safety PLC should bail out
immediately and the blue light comes on.
Reset the safety PLC.
