- Refit the bag by sliding the stiff card section along the guides.
- Close the lid on the dust compartment.
Cleaning/replacing the pre-motor filter
The pre-motor filter needs cleaning on a regular basis and it should be replaced every 6 to 9
months, depending on use.
- Remove the bag (FIG.7).
- Slide the filter out from the compartment (FIG. 8).
- Remove the filter, and then shake it vigorously to clean it. If the filter is extremely soiled, wash
it with lukewarm soapy water, rinse it well and leave it to dry. NEVER use artificial means to dry
the filter. To replace the filter, contact an Assistance Centre.
- Replace the filter in its compartment and refit it. When you refit the compartment, make sure that
the rough surface of the filter is visible.
- Lastly, refit the dust bag and make sure that the filter compartment is correctly in place before
using the cleaner.
Cleaning/replacing the exhaust air filter
The exhaust air filter needs cleaning on a regular basis and it should be replaced every 6 to 9
months, depending on use.
- Remove the exhaust air filter cover using the special lever (FIG. 9).
- Lift the filter out from its compartment and shake it vigorously to clean it. If the filter is extremely
soiled, wash it with lukewarm soapy water and leave it to dry. NEVER use artificial means to dry
the filter. To replace the filter, contact an Assistance Centre.
- Replace the filter in its compartment and refit it. When you refit the compartment, make sure that
the rough surface of the filter is visible.
Make sure that the filter compartment is correctly in place before using the cleaner.
