2) Insert the plug into a mains socket . The red
"Power" control lamp 4 lights up and the
appliance heats up . As soon as the green
"Ready" control lamp 2 lights up, the appli-
ance has heated up .
Open the lid using the handle 3 and place
the prepared burger patties onto the round
recesses on the lower griddle .
NOTE
The red "Power" control lamp 4 lights up as
soon as the mains plug is connected to a
mains socket .
Once the appliance has heated up, the green
"Ready" control lamp 2 also lights up .
However, the lamp may go out and switch
back on again at any time . This means that
the appliance is maintaining the temperature
and has heated up again a little .
Do not use the appliance to toast burger baps .
3) Now close the lid .
Fat and liquids will run into the fat drip tray 5
during use .
4) Check the food at regular intervals . At a
weight of 150 g, the burger patties need
around 10 minutes to cook all the way through

The preparation time can vary depending
on the weight and composition of the burger
patties as well as your own personal prefe-
rences .
Once you are satisfied with the result, open
the lid using the handle 3 and remove the
burger patties from the griddle . To do this, use
only kitchen implements designed for coated
surfaces, e .g . a narrow spatula or other imple-
ments which are suitable for use on the coated
surfaces of kitchen appliances .

Do not use metallic, pointed or sharp implements
such as knives, forks, etc . If the non-stick coating
is damaged, stop using the appliance .
5) When you have finished cooking burgers, dis-
connect the plug from the mains power socket .
The red "Power" control lamp 4 goes out . This
is the only way to switch the appliance off .

Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect
the power plug from the mains power socket!
There is a risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it . Otherwise there is a risk
of burns!
It is best to clean the device as soon as it has
cooled down . This makes food residues easier
to remove .
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials . These can damage the surface of
the appliance!
Do not use metal implements such as knives,
forks, etc . If the non-stick coating is damaged,
stop using the appliance .
Empty the fat drip tray 5 . Then rinse it in warm
water containing a mild detergent . Then rinse the
fat drip tray 5 with clean water and dry it off .
