CNF 006 Monitor Calibration with Barco Tool (MediCal Pro)

Section 1: Introduction
This job card describes how to set up Barco's MediCal Pro software and perform calibration on
Barco and non-Barco monitors. The procedure here is an outline guide. For more detailed
instructions, consult the Medical Pro User's Guide provided with the software.
Note:
A screen sensor (puck) is needed to perform calibration on most monitors (K2020JB for serial
port connection, K2020JC for USB). The B+ flat panel has a built in sensor & does not need a
puck.
Note:
The MediCal Pro software is not intended for use with C monitors. The software can be used to
check C monitor calibration but since C monitor brightness and contrast controls are available
on the front of the monitor, no assurance is possible that the settings will remain (manually)
unchanged between calibrations.
Section 2: Prerequisites

RA600 system software is in factory-installed configuration, including Windows 2000 operating
system and Medical Pro calibration software.
