Hitachi GR4000/GS4000 Series Routers and Switches Safety Guide
Clean the device only with a clean, dry cloth, or use a cloth that has been
dampened (not wet) with water or another pH-neutral liquid. Do not use volatile
organic solutions such as benzene or paint thinner, chemicals, chemically
treated cloths or pesticides, since these substances may deform, discolor or
damage the device.
Unplug the power cable from the outlet when the device is not used for long
periods. If you are using the DC power supply, switch off the circuit breaker at
the power facility.
Always dispose of exhausted devices or boards in an environmentally responsible
manner and as required by your local regulations. The GR4000 or GS4000
contains lithium batteries, circuit boards containing copper, lead and tin, cables
and connectors, all of which can be recycled.
Do not install optional components for the GR4000 or GS4000 on devices other
than the GR4000 or GS4000. Doing so could cause a fire or an electric shock.
The GR4000-80E2, GR4000-160E2, GS4000-80E2, and GS4000-160E2 must be
installed in a restricted-access location. This location should ensure that access
to the device can be gained only by service personnel through the use of a special
tool, lock and key, or other means of security, and is controlled by the authority
responsible for the location.
