Warnings, such as the example below, precede potentially
dangerous procedures throughout this manual. Instructions
contained in the warnings must be followed.
DANGEROUS VOLTAGES, CAPABLE OF CAUSING
DEATH, ARE PRESENT IN THIS EQUIPMENT. USE
EXTREME CAUTION WHEN HANDLING, TESTING
AND ADJUSTING.
If the covers are removed from an operating Versana Balance,
some metal surfaces may be warm enough to pose a potential
heat hazard if touched, even while in shutdown mode.
Explosion Warning
DO NOT operate the equipment in an explosive atmosphere.
Operation of any electrical equipment in such an environment
constitutes a definite safety hazard.
DO NOT substitute parts or modify equipment
Because of the danger of introducing additional hazards, ONLY
install GE approved parts. DO NOT perform any unauthorized
modification of the equipment.
SHUT DOWN FORCEDLY OR PLUG IN/OUT ACDC
INVALID MAY CAUSE THE DAMAGE OF SYSTEM
FILES.
AFTER UNPLUG POWER CORD, WAIT FOR AT LEAST
20 SECONDS FOR CAPACITORS TO DISCHARGE AS
THERE ARE NO TEST POINTS TO VERIFY
ISOLATION.
