1. Perform p roced u re titled Initial Disassem bly on p age 5.
2. Refer to Figu re 4 on p age 8. Usin g sold erin g iron , d iscon n ect th e
seven 9-foot cable wires (blu e, black, wh ite/ black, bare, red , wh ite,
blu e) from TP1 th rou gh TP6 on PCB.
3. Refer to Figu re 9 on p age 14. Rem ove lockn u t from strain relief on
9-foot cable. Th en rem ove strain relief (with 9-foot cable still
clam p ed in it) from rear h ou sin g an d d iscard it.
4. Refer to Figu re 10 on p age 15. In sert u n wired en d of n ew 9-foot
cable, Motorola p art n o. 3085853B01, in to n ew strain relief,
Motorola p art n o. 428541A02, so th at cable jacket p rotru d es 0.25-
in ch or sligh tly less p ast in sid e ed ge of strain relief.
5. Usin g a torq u e wren ch ,torq u e clam p n u t on strain relief to
12-in ch -p ou n d s (1.36 Newton Meters).
6. Hold strain relief in on e h an d an d p u ll 9-foot cable with oth er
h an d to verify th at 9-foot cable is clam p ed tigh tly in strain relief.
