Gigaset USB Stick 108
System requirements
For operation, you will require:
u
a PC with at least 466 MHz and one of the following operating systems:
Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP,
u
64 MB RAM and at least 30 MB free hard disk space,
u
a free USB port,
u
a CD-ROM drive or a DVD drive.
Procedure for installation
To establish Internet access using Access Point, proceed as follows:
1. First install the Gigaset USB Stick 108 on a PC.
2. Then install the Access Point. This is described in the user guide for the device
in question.
3. Set up the connection from the Gigaset USB Stick 108 to the Access Point.
Installation of the Gigaset USB Stick 108 on a PC
Please remember:
u
Do not insert the Gigaset USB Stick 108 into a spare USB port on your PC
until the installation software prompts you to do so.
u
When installing the Gigaset USB Stick 108 , the SSID (Service Set ID) of all
the wireless network components must be identical.
u
You may require administrator rights on your PC for the installation proc-
ess.
