Display and Operation Button of Maintenance Menu

Explanation of Operation Button

Operate the Maintenance Menu by using the button on the controller (BKM-17R, option).
Tip
The same operation is possible by BKM-16R. For details of buttons of BKM-16R, refer to the BKM-16R operation
manual.

Preparation

Equipment required
• Controller (BKM-17R)
• Connection cable (Prepare any of the following cables.)
- SMF-17R20
- Connection cable supplied with the BKM-37H/38H/39H
- LAN cable (straight cable, category 5e or more, shield type, sold separately)
• AC adaptor (Supplied with the controller and used only when the LAN cable is used.)
• USB flash drive (Use to
Procedure
1.
Turn off the unit.
2.
Set the NETWORK switch of the unit and controller to "PEER TO PEER".
3.
Connect the unit to the LAN (10/100) connector of the controller with the connection cable.
4.
Connect the power supply cable to the controller.
• When using the cable supplied with SMF-17R20 or BKM-37H/38H/39H
Connect the 12 VDC connector on the unit to the 12 VDC connector on the controller with the cable supplied
with SMF-17R20 or BKM-37H/38H/39H.
• When using a LAN cable
Connect the AC adapter output cable to the 12 VDC connector on the controller.

Turn on the unit.

Maintenance Menu

Function
To display the Maintenance Menu.
Returns to the menu screen of the previous layer.
To confirm the menu item and setting value.
Raise the cursor. The value is increased. (When numerical value is set.)
Lower the cursor. the value is decreased. (When numerical value is set.)
Turning the PHASE knob clockwise lowers the cursor and increases adjustment and
set values. (Same function as the UP button)
Turning the PHASE knob counterclockwise raises the cursor and decreases adjustment
and set values. (Same function as the DOWN button)
To enter values.
Same function as the ENTER button.
To delete entered values and characters.
