8-13. Choosing the Aspect Ratio

Allow s you to choose the screen format. W hen you view a high-definition picture using the video
480i or 480p output format, you can choose Letterbox, Cropped or Squeezed.
W hen you view a standard-definition picture using the 720p or 1080i output format, you can choose
Normal, W ide, Panorama, Zoom or Cine-Zoom. W hen you view a high-definition picture using the
720p or 1080i output format, you can temporarily choose Standard, Expand, Shrink.
(Refer to section 2-4 Normal and W ide Format Signals.)
Choosing the screen format of your TV:
1. Press the M ENU button on the Remote Control to display the on-screen menu.
2. Scroll dow n using "
