5. Pull the recoil starter slowly until it is
engaged, then pull it briskly.
1. Recoil starter handle
NOTICE
Release the recoil starter handle slowly.
TIP
If the engine fails to start even after pull-
ing the recoil starter handle several times,
move the throttle/choke lever to the "FAST
:" position, and then pull the recoil starter
handle.
6. After starting the engine, leave the en-
gine to warm up for a while, and then
move the throttle/choke lever from the
"START 1" position to the "FAST :"
position.
