A cord tag as shown below for the correct country shall be placed on the lead in wire of the
product (on the side AFTER the adaptor).
This cord tag is so the consumer knows what adaptor goes with the product should they remove
it for storage.
FCC marking is shown on USA cord tag
and IC marking on Canada cord tag and only applies if the product is required to have FCC or IC
markings
