IO expansion box

Note: After you install the IO expansion box to the computer, you can still mount the IO expansion box and
the computer together to the wall by using a matched DIN rail bracket, power adapter bracket kit, or a VESA
mount bracket.
Prerequisite
Before you start, read Appendix B "Important safety information" on page 51 and print the following
instructions.
Avoid contact with the hot computer. During operation, the computer becomes hot enough to burn the skin.
Before you touch the computer, turn off the computer, disconnect power, and wait approximately 30 minutes
for the computer to cool.
For access, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer.
2. Disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables from the computer.
3. Turn over the computer and the IO expansion box together so that the IO expansion box is on top.
