Depth adjustment

Note: Correct depth setting can also reduce
splintering.
Bevel Adjustment

Note: Do not exert any force on the
auxiliary handle or the saw itself while
adjusting the bevel angle. If weight is
applied to the saw during adjustment, the
base plate could be offset, and will no
longer lay flat on the surface of the track.
To adjust the bevel angle of the saw to –1°
or +47°, push button 12 while tilting (Fig.
1).
Note: For bevel cuts, the cutting depth is
smaller than the setting indicated on the
cutting-depth scale 6.
